  • Do you have a Scholarship Program?
  • What is your refund policy?
    • Periodically, patrons of the Community Services Department withdraw from registered programs or cancel facility reservations due to dissatisfaction, illness, or “other reasons”. These patrons have paid fees and often wish to have those fees returned. Please see our Refund Policy below for more information.

  • How do I register for programs?
    • In Person at the Aquatics Center located at 190 Oak St.
    • By Phone at 503-981-SWIM (7946)
    • Register Online by following the appropriate links for specific programs
  • What age do I have to be if I want to go on a Senior Trip?
    • Active adult trips are specifically for seniors 55 and older
  • How do I report Graffiti in the Parks?
    • If you see someone involved in the act of creating Graffiti, call 911 and report it immediately
    • If the Graffiti has already been created, please call the Police Department at 503-982-2345, not 911
  • Where is the main Recreation and Parks office?
    • Recreation and Parks is located in the Community Services Office at City Hall. If you have questions regarding Recreation and Parks programs, park shelter rentals and reservations, or any general questions regarding the Library or Aquatic Center, come to City Hall, go through the front door, and go immediately left down the hallway to the Community Services Offices. We will be happy to serve you and answer any question you have.

  • How do I reserve a picnic shelter at a park?
    • You can reserve a picnic shelter at the Community Services Office at City Hall. Please call 503-982-5264 for more information.

  • Where can I find other community resources information for recreational programs?
  • How do I sign up for Baseball and Softball?
    • We only offer T-Ball and Girls softball at this time. The local baseball organization is called Mid-Valley Youth Ball. You can reach Scott Vachter, Club President, at 503-984-4263 or visit their web site at the Mid-Valley Youth Ball Association
  • Does Woodburn have AAU Youth Basketball?
    • The City offers basketball for youths ages K-6th grade, but it is not competitive like AAU. It is a recreational league. There is a competitive youth basketball league in Woodburn called Woodburn Junior Basketball Association. For more information, call Joel Dunn at 503-982-4204
  • How do I sign up for Youth football?
    • Woodburn Youth Football Association offers youth football in the Fall. Please contact Patti Garza, Club President, at 503-473-3696 or Daniel Garcia at 503-421-4704 for more information
  • Do you offer Golf Programs?
    • The City of Woodburn has partnered with the local OGA Course to offer several golf programs. Their descriptions of these programs are in the Out and About Activity Guide
  • What programs do you offer for Teens?
    • We currently operate two Teen Drop-in Centers. One is located at Legion Park, 1385 Park Avenue, and the other is at Settlemier Park, 400 Settlemier Drive. Both Centers are open to teens 6th grade and up. We offer traditional drop-in activities like pool, foosball, air hockey, basketball, as well as a variety of other recreational programs. Hours are 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. throughout the school year and 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the summer months. There are many other Teen Programs (as well as programs for Adults) on our web site at the Recreation and Parks Web Page.
