Mid-Day Service from Woodburn to Salem

Woodburn Transit Services is filling the gap in the transportation service to Salem for Woodburn residents identified in the Transit Plan Update (TPU) by implementing a Mid Day Service to Salem.

For people with disabilities, older adults, and the transportation disadvantaged, transportation options to medical, housing, WIC appointments, shopping or socializing outside of Woodburn are limited.

The Mid-Day to Salem Service allows Woodburn residents to keep their independence and live productively in the community without burdening their families. Our mid-day service would make one stop in the communities of Gervais and Brooks as it travels south to Salem's Chemeketa Community College Campus to connect with Cherriots and Cherry-Lift bus systems. On the return trip to Woodburn, it would also make the one stop in the communities of Gervais and Brooks bringing those residents into Woodburn for medical and shopping needs as seating allows.
