      <description><![CDATA[<p align="left">The City of Woodburn is currently accepting applications for this part-time position (up to 19 hours per week) within the Woodburn Public Library. The Library Page is responsible for sorting and returning materials to the proper shelves and keeping materials orderly. Scheduled hours of work may involve weekends and evenings.</p>
<p>
<ul>
<li>Perform duties required to return materials to shelves in proper order 
<li>Check the library area and organize materials if needed 
<li>Using Bar Code Scanner, check books in 
<li>Using the report listing books placed on hold, pull books from shelves 
<li>Back up or assist other staff as needed </li></li></li></li></li></ul>

<p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p></font></b></font><font face="Arial">
<ul>
<li>Provides direct program leadership by instructing various levels of aquatic skills to all ages. Assess the skill level of and make recommendations for each student. 
<li>Supervises students by interpreting and enforcing facility use policies and procedures. Takes active role to initiate and perform services for guests and fellow students. 
<li>Provides information and assistance regarding schedules, program descriptions, and general information. 
<li>Completes course record forms and other reports as required. 
<li>Attend and participates in monthly in-service training. 
<li>Demonstrates retention of skills and knowledge and ability to initiate action, integrates actions with other staff members. </li></li></li></li></li></li></ul></font><font face="Arial">

<p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</strong></p></font><font face="Arial">

<li>Vigilantly monitors the safety of swimmers and other guests using the Aquatic Center facilities; constantly observes guests in assigned area. 
<li>Performs rescues and administers emergency care and assessment as trained and necessary. 
<li>Solicits guest compliance with facility use policies and procedures. Takes an active role to initiate and perform services for guests and fellow staff. 
<li>Provides information and assistance regarding schedules, program descriptions, and general information. 
<li>Performs custodial duties as assigned. 
<li>Provides customer service to guests at the front counter and registers guests for programs. 
<li>Attend and participates in monthly in-service training. Demonstrates retention of skills and knowledge and ability to initiate action, integrates actions with other staff members.</li></li></li></li></li></li></li></ul></font><font face="Arial">
