Public Works Department Fall Leaf Program

The City of Woodburn is fortunate to have many trees. For most of the year, we enjoy the many benefits those trees provide. Unfortunately, trees as living organisms need care and nurturing and with the autumn season, the maintenance burden of collection and disposal of fallen leaves. The City provides residents assistance with the disposal of collected leaves through the Fall Leaf Program. The program is necessary because of the potential public safety risks associated with the accumulation of leaves on streets and sidewalks. The City will provide a leaf drop-off site located on Second Street, between Lincoln and Grant streets, behind the Woodburn Post Office. The drop-off schedule is:

October 29th—December 28th

Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Closed Sundays and holidays

Please note, this drop off is for residents only. It is not intended for commercial landscape service providers who have charged residents to collect an dispose of their leaves. For more information regarding resident and business responsibilities regarding leaf collection and disposal, see City Ordinance #2225.

Don't forget, leaves can be composted and used in a sustainable manner to enrich your topsoil.
